Founders Connect Live: Nairobi Edition

This past weekend, ALX had the privilege of co-hosting Founders Connect Live in Nairobi, alongside African Impact Initiative, Kenyan Wallstreet, and Bamboo. The event brought together dynamic entrepreneurs, investors, and ecosystem leaders for a day filled with powerful conversations, networking, and startup showcases.

With an incredible lineup of speakers—including ALX Ventures’ Alan Mwangi, Osaretin Obano (África Impact Initiative), Peace Itimi (Founders Connect), and more—attendees gained insights on fundraising, business growth, and navigating Africa’s startup ecosystem. The energy was electric as founders and investors engaged in interactive sessions, fireside chats, and networking breakouts.

A major highlight was the startup demo day, where promising ventures across various sectors pitched their solutions to an engaged audience.

The session showcased the innovation and resilience driving Africa’s next wave of successful businesses. Otto, a car rental software and marketplace took home the top prize of $12,500 and 6 months incubation at our hub in ALX Nairobi.
